Matt Smith
New Business/Account Director

Arriving in Brisbane in 2009 from the UK with a laptop to his name, Matt was responsible over a seven year period for the establishment and development of a $100M energy and resources labour hire and global mobility business across Australasia. Throughout this time, he focused on driving the commercial and marketing strategy achieving a bids and tenders success rate in excess of 65% as well as creating a number of game changing brand strategies such as People Risk in the LNG Industry in association with QUT and the Langley program in Papua New Guinea. A commercially strategic thinker, with a lot of vision and enthusiasm for everything he does, Matt has a unique ability to understand a market and quickly identify business growth opportunities with a can-do attitude and a winning smile.

Andrew Forrest
Creative Director

Andrew has 20 years experience working on brand campaigns in the UK and Australia, including clients such as Davidson Recruitment, Casio, Samsung, DreamWorks, Brisbane City Council, Translink, Flight Centre, 99 Bikes and Cox-Rayner Architects. Between 2011 – 2015 he was the Brand Manager for Arrow Energy where he was responsible for developing their brand identity and style guide, the ‘bible’ on how the Arrow brand is to be used across the business. A critical thinker who enjoys problem solving, Andrew delivers results to the client and great experiences to the target audience across both digital and traditional channels, and is the champion behind our value proposition design model. Andrew also believes you’re never too old to keep buying trainers.

Tennille Kearney
Creative Projects Manager

Tennille brings 19 years of experience in the graphic design, advertising and marketing industries; working for large and small agencies in Brisbane, Melbourne, on the Gold Coast and in the UK. Over her impressive career, she has gained extensive knowledge in print and digital design, account and studio management, strategic marketing, brand management and print processes. She has an innovative approach to her role, and loves to get involved in every project that comes across her desk. Meticulous by nature, Tennille has an eagle eye; perfect for proof reading and editing. She prides herself on her ability to solve problems, and is known for resolving otherwise difficult tasks… and finding things that the other team members have lost!

Gemma Newton
Marketing & Account Executive

Gemma is a strong and trusted marketing and communications professional. Her ability to finely scope a client’s brief ensures that all relevant opportunities are identified and pursued during the research and analysis phase. This allows the team to work in confidence during concept design and development. Super organised to the point where her laptop, tablet, mobile phone, pens and pencils all have to line up on her desk to the nearest millimetre, Gemma is an integral part of the team who is constantly busy making sure the team stays on track.

Alex Horton
Senior Print & Digital Designer

Alex is our Senior Designer and brings over 10 years experience in both traditional and digital design, and is one of the imaginative brains behind our ‘Creative’ pillar. Having worked with clients such as Kingfisher Bay Resort Group, AP LNG, Sofitel, Suncorp and Queensland Rail, Alex knows the importance of being hands-on with the client when required and is always happy to offer advice and elevate the design outcomes. Alex has a proven record of meeting clients’ expectations and delivering projects on time and on budget. He also likes to paint, digitally illustrate, travel and cook – you might call Alex a digital renaissance man.

James Bell
Senior Designer

With a precise eye for detail, James brings over 25 years experience in the design industry. James is passionate about literature, print, typography, corporate identity, branding and package design. His work delivers outstanding results across multiple channels, focusing on meeting – and exceeding – the client’s brief. James has previously held a lecturer position at QUT running InDesign workshops for students completing media and design courses, and has also worked with the State Opposition Offices on policy and strategy documents. Unwavering in the face of impossibly tight deadlines, ever-dependable James always produces the goods.
