The Challenge

Creative Plantation has engaged with QUU on a broad range of strategic marketing projects including the annual report, corporate plan, stakeholders report and interactive educational pieces, across print and digital. All of these creative projects have been backed up by informed research, ensuring client expectations were not only met but surpassed. We have also produced a comprehensive QUU style guide covering signage, livery and corporate collateral.


Hydro (think at the sink)

QUU needed a campaign to ignite rapid attitudinal change in key areas in Brisbane and educate residents about sewer blockages and prevention.


The solution

We devised ‘Hydro’, a flow-friendly character who would become an icon for the initiative. We also produced a kit of useful collateral, including a sink strainer and magnet. The client had targeted to produce 20,000 kits with the allocated budget. Through intelligent design and sharp negotiation skills, we were able to produce 50,000 kits for our client within the same budget overachieving by a factor of 2.5 from an ROI perspective.
